Dear All, As many of you might be aware, sadly, Steve P has been undergoing treatment for cancer. That might explain his absence of recent, if not from here, than from the other places he was active. His incredible collection is on consignment on eBay for sale. Here is the link: http://stores.ebay.com/Dionysus-Coi...41469011&_sid=182245341&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322 I have his permission to post this. Steve advises me that all reasonable offers will be considered. I hope that in making other members aware of this, that we can prove to be of at least some service to Steve during this tough time. Regards, Peter [Note: prior to posting, I read the rules first and understand that posting this link is not contrary to them, but if I am wrong about that, then I kindly ask that this is overlooked in light of the above circumstances]
My regards for Steve, so sorry to hear that, let him know we hope it all works out for him. Thanks, Jacob
Steve might have been a little hard to deal with at times, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss him. He was very entertaining, and his collection of coins is amazing. I wish him the best during these trying times. I hope he kicks cancer to the curve and bounces back stronger than ever. Steve, if you are reading this, I'm praying for your recovery. You are a strong person, and I'm confident you will beat cancer and come back to our community stronger than ever. I'd buy a coin if it wasn't for the fact I'm tapped out with a recent purchase of a bunch of poured silver bars, and and a dozen ancients which I've yet to even organize, which means I'm done for the year and will be strictly focusing on rephotographing my entire collection. However, just because I am done buying doesn't mean I can't promote his sale. I will be reaching out to all coin collectors I know and inform them of the sale and the reason behind it, and urge them to buy a coin.
My thoughts and prayers are with Steve. I also miss his humor on the board. Steve if you're reading this I hope you get well my coin-friend.
Steve certainly had a lot of magnificent coins (most way over my head). I bought one that was special to me. Many of his coins were from CNG and other big dealers and will be remembered by old timers here from his many posts. We pray for his recovery.
Steve if your reading this, I wish you all the best and hope for a speedy recovery, CT is not the same without you.
Steve! Miss you here. Thinking and praying for you! Kindest Regards my Friend... fastest recovery for you. Best, Brian
How awful, I had no idea. Please give him my best wishes. I trust our health care system in the great white North will get him through this. I would be honoured to own a coin he once shared here, and will certainly take a look through the listings. But I also worry that he may regret parting with some of his coins. For that reason, any that I may buy he can certainly buy back, and I'll pay the postage!
This is awful news, but thanks for posting it, @greekandromancoins. I had no idea at all. I'm really sorry to hear about Steve's condition and hope that he stays strong and beats the illness. The ebay listings tell me that the seller doesn't ship to my country, but I'll contact them to ask if exceptions can be made.
I'm really shocked like all coin-friends. Steve..Don't lose hope whatever happens. We always need to look forward and hope for the best to get it. I wish you recovery and continuous cheerful life. Life is a Dream of Hope. Cheers all the way.
A few of us have kept in regular contact with Steve since his CoinTalk exit. The recurrent cancer is very sad news but Steve doesn’t want a pityfest. I hope he can beat it again.
I certainly am saddened at this news.. i have & do miss Stevex6 very much and have been a solidarity confederate in his honor here. Hang tuff my humorous friend.
Wow, that's depressing news. This is the first I've heard of it. Hang in there Steve-o, I miss you brother.
Sorry to hear this news - my father is also battling cancer at the moment. Good luck Steve and I hope you come back stronger than ever!
