    grade/value from 2004 world coin catalog...probably more value now.
    F-$5.00 VF-$8.00 XF-$13.00 UNC-$25.00
    not sure what your coins grade is ? XF-AU ?

    Awesome info! I'd like to think it's an AU because when you run it under the light it still has some remaining luster, but more realistically it's an XF

    I collect German type coins..Reichs era type and some earlier.I' m wondering if DD's , double die struck coins are premium? 1932A 4 pfennig..it does look like the R in Reich and the DEUT in Deutsch appear to be DD..Ill post better photos when I remove from holder

    Here is a picture from the war issues under German occupation and similar pieces after WW2 from the French Republic under General de Gaulle.

    Let's leave de Gaulle out here. ;) Both types were around during WW2. The Morlon type (Liberté etc.) was issued between 1931 and 1959, first in aluminum-bronze and then, as from 1941, in aluminum. The regime in Vichy issued the Bazor type (Travail etc.) in 1942-1944 ...
