"This coin is marked rare copper 1943 penny UNC-BU. I can not grade coins. I do feel this coin shows great detail, This coin sticks to a magnet. Because of this I will let you judge the worth. Please view the two pictures." At least he is honest that it is fake, IF YOU CAN READ! Magnet= not copper.
should email the top seller the part about the magent, but then, if he couldnt read the auction details, he might not read an email
If you can read... AND think ! The sort of folks who hang around CT would instantly put 2 and 2 together... ... but there's 22 bidders who couldn't figure it out. It's up to $106 !
The seller did kind of bury the magnet part in the fascinating text. Bidding scares me though. Over $100? I just may have to crack open one of my rolls of REAL 43 coppers.
Look thru his feedback too - he's sold more than 3 of these it appears from the quick look I took - WOW & the people left positive feedback -
Maybe they're impressed with the excellent copper plating job. Come to think of it, it is much shinier than a steel one...
Wow. I don't know what to think about this. The seller isn't quite dishonest. And the bidders are VERY stupid. Lol.
Yup, Cancelled, and I was kinda hopeing that it would break $25,000 for a genuine copper plated 1943 steel plated cent. (Hey, did the magnet come with it?)
This explains it best I think: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: Geez, is ignorance contagious? Phoenix
