I'll be driving north from Ft. Myers on Saturday to get together with friends and attend the NGC Luncheon. If you have plans to attend and want to just get together to say "Hi!" on Saturday, you can always send me a PM, and we can exchange cellphone numbers. Chris
@cpm9ball Only upon seeing this thread did I realize that I owe you a response. My apologies, and I will be sure to get to it later this evening.
I was thinking about going, just to early in January. It's still not really warm there that time of the month. Heck if I'm going to be cold, I may as well stay home.
Seeing how I live 25 minutes from it.... I better be there. I even already got the ok from the Admiral to take the day off on Saturday for it.
I live down here so I'm going and Ive never been to one of these. If anyone needs info of the area Ill try to help.....the one guy I would like to meet is Green18 I know I can have Fun with him
I'll also add that if anyone that is coming down from out of state, and plans on staying in Treasure Island, St Pete Beach, Madeira beach, or any of the St Petersburg area beaches (or St Pete proper), hit me up, and we can get together for dinner or what-not. Car pooling is also an option. And if you'd like my opinion on a hotel you're interested in, just ask me. I know them all.
I'll stop at Fred's table several times at the show. Always something going on. Lots of folks bringing coins by to ask his opinion. One of the most friendly dealers I have ever meet. ToughCOINS always has cool coins to look at. Lots of forum members show up there. Same with Charmy, the Penny Lady. Another fun place is the ICG table. They give free opinions and take the time to teach. They stay really busy. I don't but wish I could just sit there for a few hours and listen. Randy Campbell is the senior grader and also the President of FUN. I could go on and on about the great folks at this show.
