2002-D Incomplete elliptical clip ( also could be PMD )

    IMO.. PMD
    In order for it to be an Incomplete Clip it would have to show on both sides. It would have equal amount of pressure to create the impression.

    Don't see any clip.

    It's discolored in an arc pattern, most likely from having lain in contact with another coin for a long time, perhaps in water or damp conditions, and it discolored in that pattern as a result.
