Most people would have no idea what the error is here. Have a look and then I'll tell you.

    Okay, now here's the error.
The D4 on the left is correct. It is from a 1996 series note. The D4 indicates it was a Cleveland district note.
The D4 on the right is from a 1999 note. The block is BD-A.
Notice that the font size is different. It's too small. This only occurred in the BD-A block and only a small percentage of these had the small font.

Try finding them in change as they are probably still out there although I haven't seen one in some time.

Why do I bring this up? Well mostly to educate but also to point out that people will look for the MOST minor error on a coin while this one is easy to spot should you actually encounter one.

    This ends my lesson.

kinda weird, but i wouldnt put to much stock in it being worth muich if it is indeed an error. alot of things go on with notes that dont carry much of a premium. font changes i think are one of them ... its only a dollar, worth holding onto ti if it does prove out to be worth a premium.

The FW 295 errors are starting to see a premium, maybe this will too.

    You're welcome RickieB.
I really only did post this to educate. I doubt many people knew that such an error existed.

I know it carries a premium of at least $19 as it's found on twenties LOL.
Sorry, Daggarjon, had to do that. No they don't carry a great premium just rather interesting.

Yes, and if they get anywhere near what they once were I'll be selling a ton. You know I have a few thousand Gatzdon.
