I just bought the Charlton Guide to Canadian Coins - 62nd edition. Can anyone comment on the accuracy of its prices? They strike me as quite high, but then, I've been out of the market for a while.

The price guide that I use is the trends section of the Canadian Coin News newspaper which publishes every 2 weeks and is therefore much more up to date. I do find ,however, that the current Charlton is usually quite close to these prices.
They are, in both cases, retail prices.

According to the Canadian Numismatic Association, 99% of it is accurate:mouth:.

The US dollar keeps falling, so expect those prices to get even higher.
