Any online auctions or BIN sites besides ebay? I get tired of looking at the same coins a million times over. PM me if you don't want to post. Thanks! Lux
Depends what you're looking for. eBay is generally the best for most things unless you're talking real extensive. David Lawrence does auctions every week that would be another catch all source. Gerry Fortin has some great stuff on his site if you like Seated and Bust stuff. Pretty much any big dealer has their own webpage now ect
CoinZip also has lots of auctions and BIN coins. Great Collections has lots of auctions (never bought anything there, though.) But honestly...unless you're looking for something specific, why not try to go to a local small-time coin show? My local coin clubs organize a few shows at VFW and the like and I've always had plenty of dealers who are ready to sell some coins (as well as your usual assortment of other types.) I've gotten some pretty good deals there (even without the varieties/toners I also got as part of them that made it a great deal for me.) You could also (if you know it's something specific you're looking for) post here on the WTB section. Just keep in mind that if you post something like "I want really good prices but I don't want to pay anywhere near what they're worth" - you might not get a ton of people willing to spend a lot of energy finding things for you.
Google, and other venues, are your friend. Why should I do your homework? Welcome to the forum and reality..........
@green18 you're right I should probably use google and "other venues". If only there were some other venue of search besides search engines. Some sort of community I could ask for input/expertise from people with previous experience. Like a coin forum...
This is a good thread I've used in the past: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/248281/ Also, no one mentioned Heritage, Stacks Bowers, or Scotsman auctions.
This should give you a very healthy start . . . https://forums.collectors.com/discu...favorite-coin-websites/p1?new=1#zz-Dealers-zz
