I've changed directions. I'm now pulling the best copper out of the rolls I've made. Doing nice rolls and putting ugly copper 10 at a time in rolls I look through. Might be less copper overall but should be quality that I keep.

I haven't found much in the last couple years. And the bank I now go to carries rolls that don't seem to produce anything. So I only have been doing rolls occasionally. Still do look thru change before putting that into my spend container.

Yeah I wasn't finding much besides copper in rolls lately.
The odd 30s 40s but pretty slim pickings.

As a retired person, I go through boxes of coins every day. Yesterday I found a 1904 Indian Head Cent and a 1988 cent with a curiously raised first 8.

Wow. I'm letting a lot of pennies that don't make the grade go back to the wild. But keeping quality.

    $25 CWR Cents: 42, 45, 50, 50-D, 51-D, 53-D, 56, 57-D, 509 coppers, and a 10 Eurocent coin

    $100 CWR Nickels:
    - 5 war nickels - 43-P, 43-S, 45-P (x3)
    - 5 Buffalos - 24, 28, 30, 34, dateless
    - 69 other nickels from 30s-1959. Two really stellar rolls produced about half these results

    $265 CWR Dimes: 39, 46, 48-S, 53-D, 57-D, 63, 64 (x2), Canadian cent from 1944

With the 64 quarter the coinstar gave me, it was definitely a good day searching. Of course I promptly deleted the pictures off my phone this morning before downloading a copy to post. :-/

First 3.5 boxes of halves this week have given up squat. I'm assuming the other 2.5 boxes will be the same. There is a whole lot of 81Ps in them. Over half.

I went through $100 in halves 3 weeks ago. One roll had 9 40% silver and other very nice coins. Someone must have sent the wrong roll to the bank. This week, I got $200 in halves and got no silver and poor specimens, except for one. I got a 1978 with both sides heads. The coin shop said that it is fake, but I have another one that looks identical, but with a tail. Does anyone know if it's possibly real?

I love my bank. I walk in and they all run around looking for halves and big dollar coins for me. So friendly.

I came out with 126 in halves and 12 in ikes.
Only 1 1967 half. Silver is silver, haven't seen silver in a while.

I'm not quite halfway through my copper rolls.
But by putting 30 non keeps with 20 zinc I make two rolls out of one. In other news I bought $15 In pennies at a Bank of America and they came in an official penny box. At $25 per box I can see getting one per week. I have 17 rolls of pretty darn nice copper.

Had company this weekend and so brought some rolls out of this box for our guests to check as I pushed the coins out of the wrappers. They were excited for me as I found Walkers, Bens, & Kens. All told: 18 silvers. Best results for me in awhile!

Wow! I haven't found any 90% for a very long time. One of the girls at the bank is a coin collector, so I'm assuming she may be getting them.

This coin looks perfect. I don't see how anyone could have put the two together.

Thanks, I guess. It is extremely hard to see anything wrong.
