Can you guess why I bought this '77-S Trade Dollar?

A couple of months ago I went on a Trade Dollar binge, and bought 5 of them raw (individually). I may continue, and do the full year set of business strikes, but the jury is still out on that.

I think I went a little nuts to prove to myself that I had educated myself enough not to get burnt, after getting burnt back in May. I bought a TD that was genuine in the photos, but then I was sent a poorly made counterfeit.

Long story short, I bought this one not because I wanted/needed the 77-s, or because of the grade (it's lower then I'd like actually), but because I thought I saw something, and I was right. Can you tell me what it is?

Looks like a micro DDR (PUP on the "T" of "Trade"). Also the "broken 4."

Reverse 1? Is the spot under the talon a berry?

In terms of wear, I'd say EF40. There may have been a light cleaning on the obverse (bright fields and light hairlines). The rim hits might preclude a straight grade but you never know. This is the more common of the 2 DDR's for this issue.

I found it to be most obvious in "TRADE" - IMG_8335DDR Detail (Custom).jpg

She's looking west across the Pacific towards the Orient, the intended destination for these coins.
