IMG_0195.JPG IMG_0196.JPG I just recently found this penny in my collection. I remember I had gotten it in some change at a store. It looked like someone had maybe taken it out of a collection and it wasn't in circulation long. I found out these pennies have 3 different colorings. I don't think it is brown. I can't tell if it would be red-brown or red. I also would like to know how good the detail, like grading, would be. If anyone knows a value and facts I would appreciate it.

Better looking than my 1924, and it being an s, as well as a wheat back, in Copper and all, I think that makes it a total grand total of at least 3 cents, to 6 cents. As far as other values, it depends really on who wants it most. Its important to know, I feel, that US currency, that includes coins, no longer have any gold reserve value, its all now simply a matter of how much faith you put in our American medium of exchange.
This makes our numismatic interests value our national treasures all the more, and that must really puzzle the Fed Res. Sorta funny.

It would be a very nice looking cent if it didn't have the crud on the surface. An XF, . If it were mine I would let it soak in a bath of acetone.

If the acetone get's rid of the crud it's as much as $20 retail.
