Some of you maye have seen my thread My "Educational" Colonial Display(s) that I did on some Colonials.

I decided I want to do something similar for the Early Silver Commemoratives, as each one has so much history (and some even scandal), that just looking at the coin doesn't even begin to tell the story.

Using the Gettysburg as my test subject, I came up with the below graphic. Wasn't sure how much (or even how) to incorporate into it, so I went simple. Tell me what you think. I'd like to hear any suggestions as to content, colors, anything really.

Along with dreams of sugarplum fairies, I imagine these at coin shows being handed out to YN's (kids) to get them interested in the series.

I think you made the right choice going simple. If you wanted to add more I would suggest doing it on the back and keeping that clean design on the front where even with the information the coin is still the star.

I like it, too. Simple, direct, eye-catching.
