I guess I should pipe in on this one. The discount cards I started using fairly recently. The idea was to pass them out to all new customers, but I kind of let it slide over the summer. So...in fairness to all, I would happily extend the same discount to anyone who finds something of interest. That is very kind of you, but it violates the rules concerning advertising. You can ask they communicate with you about discounts before purchasing.
LOL, I came in late to the post and was like, it is just a card no discount code. Job well done. @Deacon Ray
Thank you @Deacon Ray for posting this! My tackle box is not being used to advantage so I'll clean it up and use it for my ancient coins! Thanks for the brilliant organizational idea! (How is it possible that I missed seeing this post until now?)
@Deacon Ray Here are my 2 boxes with items I have found over the past 6 or 7 years metal detecting. World coins, bullets, watches, dog ID's, elongated cents, junker jewelry, toy cars, medals, tokens and buttons literally hundreds of items! 1st box are beach items, 2nd box park items And a box with compartments with all of my ring finds!
That is awesome, @paddyman98 ! You are living the dream! My dream anyway! I've done some metal detecting using a really inexpensive—almost a toy—metal detector. I've found very little with it. My one substantial find was some discarded water pipe fixtures that were buried in a refuse pit by the developers of my housing complex. They were approximately 20 years old. The only historical artifacts that I have found were not with a metal detector. I found some 200 year old iron nails, animal bones, oyster shells, and liquor bottles in an exposed embankment near a colonial town after a heavy rain.
Thank you, @LaCointessa ! I'm delighted that you didn't decide to leave us! I always enjoy your comments!
@Deacon Ray. Thank you very much. Your words mean an awful lot. I do realize I could be less obnoxious. I'll work on that.
I have never found you obnoxious, just enthusiastic, which is great. It is okay to have a personality after all. John
