Im Hooked! Now I am curious to find out if anything I have collected may be worthy of the Auction. Ive seen some pretty nice coins you all have. Thanks for sharing..
Here's a good thread to read . https://www.cointalk.com/threads/19...ference-between-copper-or-brass.299631/page-2
The thing I must do Is invest in a scale so that I can weight it and there will be a yahoo or a boo hoo...hopeful that this could possibly go to auction.
Make sure the scale is capable of resolving to 0.01g. The second thing to do is learn the difference between Large Date and Small Date 1982's; here's a good place to start: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/a-guide-to-1982-lincoln-cent-identification.55647/ After all that, you'll know you have a Large Date coin of whichever composition, and you can move on to more important collection goals.
Thanks for the info.. i am learning something new every day. If I knew what DDO & DDR meant in coin collecting lingo Im pretty sure I would say most definately.. I know that my favorite finds are error coins. What do you all make of this error 1997D?
