    Considering the price of ink, I no longer use an ink jet printer. When I want color, I get prints made at Costco (17 cent 4x6", $9.99 20x30"). Those prices compare well to blank paper not counting the ink. I love my black and white laser for other use.

    Another absolutely stunning display!!! :woot::woot:

    If I didn't already have the 'ancients collecting bug', your presentation(s) would immediately result in my addiction:p

    I was remiss in not posting a response earlier, Ray, and I apologize for that. It seems I am “running around like a chicken with its head chopped off” these days! Despite that lame excuse, I do want to say that your displays are really marvelous — they surely add a new and important dimension to collecting Ancient coins. I bet they will serve to inspire many people who see them to take up this hobby!

    Thank you, Carl! I create these displays in order to be able to show them to other collectors and members of the church. I don't want to keep my coins in a box at the bank or a drawer where only I can see them. Not everybody is impressed by these coins but a few are thoroughly amazed. Questions such as: "2000 years ago?", "Are you saying that this coin could have been used by Saint Peter or Mary Magdalene?"—The few who are impressed makes it all worthwhile?

    Great display Ray, I can't understand why more people are not smitten by the ancients bug, but if they were exposed to your fantastic displays they would come around!

    I am sure there are many owners of Tribute Pennies who choose to believe that their coin was the one that was shown to Jesus. Such hope is what sells Lottery Tickets. We can not prove them wrong. Jesus is not reported to have handled the coin but the Bible does record Peter was told (Matthew 17:24–27) to take the Shekel from the fish and pay the tax for both Jesus and himself so there would be the place to seek fingerprints.:happy: A one in several million chance at best, admittedly, but it does sell coins.
