It's common to not be able to tell how a coin was damaged. There are millions of ways that it can happen. It's fun to guess but most of the time it's impossible to know for sure.
Well thank you....I knew I was right about the possibility of the mint having disaster coins, that one is actually really pretty, kind of...art noveauish.... lol
He's always like that. Lol. Just think of red foreman from that 70s show. Always grumpy but still is a good guy when he wants to be lol. Don't worry. He been here a little too long and I think he getting burnt out on helping, but he still helps so it is what it is lol
Me too. Haha. I am not perfect. If he wants to pick at me, I'm all for it haha he probably thinks im kelso lol
The single coin photos are all of damaged pieces (except for my ex-Clusters!). We weren't there when they were damaged, so aside from saying something like "hammer/glue/plating/ sandwiching/etc. etc." we might not be able to give an exact cause - but the general cause of damage is fairly easy to determine.
Ha! Happens all the time lol, still don't understand why I got a ":/" for my explanation while kindly explaining and siding her case.
Thank you SorenCoins ! I can't tell which one of us he is unhappy with. Lol. Sorry if I brought the drama bit still love you guys! I have really been well received , I think, even with my very limited knowledge and have learned a LOT.
