I have had this coin for a while, looked for it on the net and come up with every comemorative coin but this one

    Any ideas about it?

This is not a coin. I suppose it is a medal commemorating the coronation of George V and Mary on June 22, 1911 as king and queen of the United Kingdom.

Well pretty much knew that, its just an odd one as it has nothing on it to hang it from a ribbon, my great uncle has one of the medals from the coronation, he was in the royal engineers - i know there are a few but no idea with this one, gonna have to take it to someone to tell me

Like Bart said, it's a medal. Not all medals are made with a loop for hanging or wearing.
