Turkey - Maritime Transport Token

I don't remember where I got this brass token from but I finally searched on Numista.com and found out it's from the country of Turkey

Note that your token is a little different from the one shown at the Numista page. That one says ŞEHIR HATLARI İŞLETMESİ, something like Administration of the City Lines. A company by that name is still (or rather again) around, see here:

Now the token that you have says DENİZCİLİK BANKASI. That (public) maritime bank https://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denizcilik_Bankası was apparently founded in 1951 and dissolved/merged in 1983 ...
