Alright, so I am getting sucked into the coin slabbing. I have a few questions about it. When you send a coin to get graded, do they send it back in the air-tight case? Does the value of the coin go up if it is graded, and slabbed by one of the companies? Can you send any coin to get slabbed? Thanks!! -Brennn10
I can answer 1 and 3........ 1. Yeah, they send it back in the slab which is air-tight. 3. Yeah, but make sure its worth the fee.
The slabs are not airtight, but yes they send it back to you slabbed as long as there not any problems. No, it does make it easier to sell though. Yes, as long as there are no problems with the coin. Note - if the coin is not worth at least $100 - $150 - then it's not worth having it slabbed unless authenticity may be an issue.
