Tell me about this 1914-S LWC

    I don't actively collect Lincolns, but I seem to have quite a few of them. This is basement slabbed (which I ignore), and would like grade opinions and if there are issues with the color. In hand, it's a wee bit more colorful, but this is a pretty good representation of the coin. Thanks!

    I'll second the AU-ish sentiments with potential for low MS on a goofy day at the local TPG office...frankly I wouldn't be surprised with a Quest Color designation either.

    I like it tough...I'll guess the basement holder too....is it an NTC MS 65?

    Plenty of wear on the wheat stalks, but bright in color = cleaned.

    45 or 50. Probably cleaned.

    Wheaties are bronze, steelies are zinc'ish...
    this penny looks to be 40 and cleanished.
