I watched for a while and the prices were really ridiculous. I think if you searched on "seizedpropertyauctions" you would find other threads about it.

    Same as Mark B.

What I saw went way too high. I quickly lost interest.

Might be a bogus thing. I know for a fact that everything from confiscated items by the police or other agencies are auctioned off at the state building in downtown Chicago about 2 times a year. this is from all over the State. Same with the tons of items found in safe deposit boxes that no one claims. The cash is turned over to the State. Not sure but I would think most States do the same. There are also government sponsored auto auctions from the confiscated autos, trucks, etc from crimes or abandoned. However, most vehicals are just placed in a dump for 30 days and then smashed and sent to the steel mills. Several of them around the City. Not sure if true but the one near Western and Grand goes through about 25,000 cars a year. Nothing is saved including radios, lamps, seats, etc. Now that is equality. All are smashed equally.
At the last state building aution the prices were so far off it wasn't worth the trip there.
