I have obtained a few rolls of BU 2004P and 2004D bank rolls from work. I want to put some P&D roll sets on eBay. My question is what do you think a fair price would be and what should I charge for shipping? Also some rolls are heads/heads, some are tails/tails and some are heads/tails. David
Just go on ebay and check realized prices. That's about the best way there is. As for shipping - take a roll to the post office in a box - have 'em weigh it and ask.
You should be able to cover your costs and postage for $2.50 shipping per roll. That is also considered very fair on eBay provided that you package them well.
I'm not really sure how to properly package rolls of coins. I know I can sell a few P&D roll sets. David
Unfortunately, a Philadelphia bank roll went for $1.77 and a Denver roll (14 selling Dutch style) did not have any sell at $1.39 per roll.
With rolls, we wrap them in bubble wrap and ship them in a box, not a bubble mailer. We use 300-count sports card boxes.
