..I went back to the church lot that I hit last year and had great success at. I was not expecting much but was pretty surprised at the silver that popped up. Here is the front and backs of the silver found today. Also in the picture is a cool little silver cufflink I found as well. Here is the lone Indian head found. Has a wierd look to it. Kinda washed out. Had to show this neat old ring. Was gold plated at one time. Here is the entire haul before a cleaning. A fun time diggin in the dirt lookin for old coins.

For some of us, it is not the owning so much as it is the finding. I know this is gonna sound really bizarre to some, but I go night crawler hunting before I go fishing. And you know, it is as much fun to sneak around at night catching night crawlers as it is fishing. Same with coins. Finding your own 1941 is far greater feeling than buying a 1909 VDB. It is about the chase... it is about the hunt... it is about the find. And when you end up with a load like that, man, you gotta feel good. -Ken
I agree Ken. I'm never satisfied either. Always wanting more. Researching spots to go find coins is just as much fun too. Winter time is coming up and thats when I hit the books looking for new old spots. Fun stuff.
Nightcrawlers Unclekin, When I was a kid we used to go "crawler" hunting at night. Most people probably don't realize that those litte critters are REALLY FAST when they are half way in a hole. Catching a big one was an accomplishment. Thanks for bringing back that memory. clembo
