I've wondered the same thing. I don't think he has posted in more than a year. His brother used to be a prolific poster as well. Not seen hide nor hair of either in quite some time.
Coins of Gallienus are perfect examples of what happens when you take a business (mint) operating well and tell the workers they have to double production because you need more money. While you are at it, tell them to make the silver coins with half the silver they previously used. Repeat this process every month for a couple years and see how things work out for you. It is a shame that the zoo series came late in the reign when quality was a thing of the past. There are good examples of these coins but they are the exception rather than the rule.
