I love them too. Yours is great. The Gorgon really makes the coin (and of course the Owl!)

That's an interesting coin, Smojo! The nicest bird coin that I have is my Titus eagle.

That is a really nice example. Congrats on finally getting an Athena Owl!

    Nice eagle D Ray
I still don't have any of Titus. I once thought I was getting one (seller pics weren't to good and misattributed) When the coin was delivered and cleaned some of the crud off of it I was happy to find a Tiberius As with a decent altar of Lugdunam reverse.

That really is a terrific little coin, Smojo. Nice buy!

A few favourite (non-Athenian) owl coins.

    Kamarina bronze. Owl attacking lizard.

Roman Republic. Creepy but cute faceless owl sitting on a helmet.

Corinth stater. Owl control mark. Seriously, though, what’s the deal with these weird double-bodied owls??

A new one... Just captured it... I like it as it is a fractional AR Owl...

I love mine. Did not realize how unusual or "rare" they are. Ed at Romae Aeternae has mine for over $700... surprised...

Romae’s prices often surprise me too, but not in a good way, even after the “discounts”. I do like that little Athens AE of yours, though; definitely a keeper!
