Just had my 10th wedding anniversary a couple of months ago, and on the evening we were supposed to go to dinner and rah, rah, rah. I wasn't feeling well, I'm getting older, and health happens. Anyways, long story short I was a straight up rude dude to my wife so I thought I would make it up to her later. My wife is Japanese and if any of you know Asians, they most probably love Jade. So, from personal experience I prefer to buy the treasured stuff from the 1960's or sooner. And whenever I'm looking on ebay to buy Asian jewelry or old gold I enter 14k 585 gold and jade and see what pops up. I saw this item pop up and it's only $75 and free shipping! Practically unheard of for a piece like this, oh and also, the ad says no returns. Also, a couple of the pics are poorly done and the item looks scratched. Sorry for the long winded story. I contacted the seller and asked her to see more pics because she says the 14k is inside the bale. So, I'm thinking that's why she is having a hard time selling it, most buyers don't know that some designers used to stamp inside the bale. She sends me the pics and I told her that if she put a return on that item, I would have it scanned and if it came back 14k we were good. If not, I would return it back to her and I wouldn't leave a neg feedback. I told her I would leave, "I returned item, rec'd refund fair & square". She agreed to my offer and I got the deal of the year for me, well at least one of them! lol No scratches, and a beautiful piece of jade jewelry. Hey, happy wife happy life, right? s-l1jade 3 600.jpg s-l1jade 4 600.jpg s-l1jade 2 600.jpg s-l1jade 5 600.jpg s-l1jade1 600.jpg !

Yeah, my wife was thrilled to death! The first top pic shows the 14k in the bale. Once the seller told me that her mother in law had passed away but she bought it in Hawaii years ago, I was thinking to myself I gotta buy this piece!! Once in a while you see something on ebay that just isn't selling and if you investigate a little further, you might run into an honest seller and a great score!
