I understand that if I participate in their auctions and win something that I have to pay a buyers premium. Fine. What about if I want to buy a buy it now item? Same deal?

    - Thanks, Tony

No. You'll just pay the asking price plus shipping.

Thanks! I tried to find that information on their site, but I never could so I knew I could get it here.

Pro Auctioneer Lingo? I remember getting confused over the term "Buyer Premium" as well, when I bought a bunch of coins through an eBay Live Auctioneer.

I also found out that the buyer premium was just the total costs, plus s/h.

ummm...why do they call it that, then?

Buyer premium is not just the total costs plus s?h. If an auction has a buyer's premium of 10% you will take the high bid and ADD 10% to that, and then s/h. If bidding on a high priced item this can be a BIG surprise if you don't understand this up front.
