Stopped by several banks looking for halves. Got a total of $10 worth, including 4 NIFC's - 2013-P, 2013-D, 1993-S (clad), and a 1987-D! Been looking for that one for awhile!

Posting two days worth of searching, so my first 8 boxes for the week, 6 Skunks, The 2 boxes yielded 1-41S Walker, , 1-65, 3-67, 2-68, 3-69. I also pulled 1-Counterstamped with a P, a 2013 almost mirror like, and 1-72 UN Peso. Happy I reached my weekly goal of 10. Hope to see some silver tomorrow.

6 banks tonight yielded a total of $187 worth of CWR and loose halves...skunk.

And 26 Ikes. No silver, and only 2 BU...pretty unremarkable :sour:

I promise I’ll look for varieties, but I’ll wait until I have accumulated several hundred so I’m efficient with my time. I appreciate the reminder there may be more there than meets the eye!

My weekly search update. Searched 16 Loomis boxes.
    image.jpg
    54-40% JFKs
    3-90% JFKS
    2-Franklins
    4-Walkers
    1986 Commemorative
    9-Clad Proofs 72,77,84,89,90,92,93,94,02

    Just over 11 ounces
Average four silvers per box is normal. Average of 5:1 40%s to 90%s about normal.

While waiting for delivery of my Loomis, I was bored and picked up $100 in nickels just to pass the time (I don't collect nickels, just wanted to see what was in a Brinks box of nickels)

Don't know if these are good or not, I hadn't seen a Buffalo nickel in a while so thought it was cool. Hey Nickel guys, your thoughts?

Truble, I don’t see any war nickels in your photo, so no silver. Any of the older dates in the photo with an “S” mint mark are generally lower mintage. Any 38 or 39 D or S is a keeper.

Thanks, I have one war nickel my wife got in change a few years ago. On average how many do you find in say a box of nickels?

If halves are $10 per roll I may have to ask our bank about it.
I don't see ever affording a box but a couple of rolls is within reason.

Good luck only getting a few rolls. As far as I know, banks can only order in boxes. My particular bank has to order a minimum of 2 boxes to have them delivered. The only way I could get individual rolls is if a customer brings them in. They wouldn't want to order $1k in halves to sit around in their vault if you are only taking a few rolls.

I have about a box and a half of Loomis cent rolls to finish reviewing so I can prepare them to be deposited. I am not much interested in cents any more; although it is still fun to find a wheatie.

After going through about 10 rolls this week I found a few wheat cents, and about a half dozen “s” mint cents. But the most interesting thing I found confused me because I didn’t know whether to post it here or in the thread entitled “My first gun.”

This is what I found and I like it a lot! It is exactly the size of a cent.
