Hey, you said you're comparing photos. Why not go pro? https://www.pcgs.com/photograde/#/Capped50/Grades It seems to be a VF, but VF30 is a bit too optimistic... I don't have the time to look up the Overton # for you, but have a look at this web site and give it a try: http://www.coinzip.com/bustieguide/overton.php?d=1828
Overton 119. NOT O-110. The only small letter reverse. Hard to find, so I don't mind the reverse scratches. Nice coin. VF details. Worth about $150 on the market due to the small letter reverse, even with the problems.
The first time I had this revelation I auctioned a Fine condition 1809 that I figured would sell for $100-$125. When it sold for $450 I literally said, "YAYYYY! ..... uh oh...." I didn't know what I had. Could have been worth three times that much but I was clueless. So I bought the Overton book. One weekend later at the local coin show, it paid for itself and then some with a R.5 1811.
Thanks, Ken O-119 looks right Grade? VF, low end, cleaned and reverse scratches-- from United to the wing
Thank you @Treashunt, now I just need to work on my grading skills ha I always seem a couple grades high
It takes time. Becoming a little more conservative (though not brutal) in your grading will serve you well.
