Birthday Present; 1826 Bust Half Dollar (O-105, R3)

    Well, I just picked my BD present with he wife's Okay, LOL. :D She's an 1826 Capped Busty, O-105 (R3). Not bad for a VF-30/35ish example which was less than $100 and it weas needed for the old BCBHD Collection. Now the long wait for the postal delivery, at leat 10 days normally... Please share your thoughts.

    112 Varieties, 122 Coins in the BCBHD Collection ;)

    I love the bust half dollars. I think they present a good numismatic value, as the present example exemplifies.

    Very nice Bust Half Ben. I've always liked the designs of the Bust coins.

    Nice coin Bone. I really like the toning around the edge on the obverse...very attractive.

    Thanks tcore, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The square toned area (IMHO) doesn't detract from the beauty of the coin. You can see there is album toning around the edges and over the square area which could have been from tape or any other sticker which was removed in the past...
