Houston Coin Show this weekend with several ancient dealers!

    I will have to take some better pics, but thought I'd post my @TIF shirt that drew a few comments at a coin show today. One of my finds today was a Celtic imitation of a L. Rubrius Dossenus coin.

    Very nice. These particular types are generally assumed to be Eraviscan in origin and this is quite a nice one. One little note to add though, this is not an imitation of types L Rubrius Dossenus but L Roscius Fabatus.

    I often wondered what happened to Nilus, I had bought a few coins from him on Vcoins years ago...

    Last time I talked to Bill he had dropped off of VCoins because he wanted to focus on doing weekend shows and did not have time for both.

    I m sure those dealers would prefer to be referred to as "senior" rather than "ancient".
