Grade my 1921 Alabama 2x2 Commem

    What grade would you throw at it?

    I would guess AU 55 without being able to see the surfaces. Definitely AU Details. Very well struck for an Alabama. For a low-end type set it would be perfect.

    Looks like some significant wear to me, so I will guess a bit lower at 45. that being said, I really like the patina and subltle tone on this coin. While the obverse design is pretty dull, the eagle on the reverse is really well executed.

    Its most probably a MS 63 but grading the commerative coins isn't really my expertise. If I had a better pic where I could look close at the surfaces I could tell you 100%
