Care to guess if this is genuine?

I found this in a bulk purchase. My eye sight makes me question its authenticity.

The S and the VDB look wrong to me. But wait for an expert opinion.

I am not sure because of the color contrast.

 

I think the S is added.

 

I'm no expert but IMHO, NOT GENUINE!

I have seen a similar coin to yours being sold as a "souvenir" for $19.99.

Yeah I have to agree that the S looks quite suspect. We oughta get Fred on the case.

 

You know you have a pretty baby when you show pictures and get comments like "Ohh how Pretty, or "She/He is Gorgeous", but if you ever here the comment "How Precious", or "Isn't She/He Precious", your first thought should be, "I have an Ugly baby". Well, Genuine or not, that coin is precious.

 

Do you mean that I may have to reconsider my post-hurricane season vacation that was just starting to come into view?

 

I don't know about postponing it, but you may have to scale the flag pole to see the beach from the hotel.

 

The "S" does look strange as others have noted; that said, it's hard to see due to the dark toning.

 

S isn't right and I don't like the lettering. For lack of a better term the lettering looks "bloated and mushy".
