Sweet who got one from the mint or a primary dealership,at the lowest cost??? Cause they be tripping on csn Sent from my KYOCERA-E6560 using Tapatalk
Gosh, I just recently noticed on the bullion desk palladium is more expensive than platinum by about 6 dollars. I do not own one of those palladium, but I own a 1 oz. palladium bar I got many years ago as a gift.
I got a raw coin from JMB before the prices started to jump. Oddly enough, one of the lower priced options right now is a PCGS MS-69 from APMEX... The coin is really nice looking, although mine is struck slightly lopsided.
WOW! That is mind blowing.....if these coins are being sent out with such noticeable flaws, we might start seeing errors left and right.
Someone in another thread mentioned there's was similar. We both ordered from JMB. Would this really be considered an error? What actually causes this?
I would guess they haven't fine tuned striking palladium yet. Interesting coin to say the least. New numismatic term lopsided planchet. LOL!!!! I want one!!!!!!!
My understanding is that platinum and palladium have similar hardness therefore there should not be a drama when striking palladium. Especially when the US mint is used to strike platinum eagles...
Appears to be finning, which was very common on the mercury gold dimes I believe. If almost all of them have it, they don't consider it an error.
You could get the error attribution for the finning on the Mercs if you wanted, it was just kind of counter productive since error guys didn't seem to care and so many had it so most people didn't NGC doesn't have their population up yet but I think I saw someone saying there are 2 PLs so far.
“This message on quality control has been brought to you by your good friends down at the United States Mint. Yes folks, the United States Mint, where their motto is, ‘Meh, it’s only a bullion product - ship it!’”
For whatever reason, they seemed to take this one seriously and even packaged it better than they do the platinum. https://www.coinworld.com/news/prec...alladium-american-eagles-exhibit-quality.html
First Strike? Choke up on the bat just a little and don't fall for the low and outside slider. You don't want to go down 0-2. I all seriousness, Richard Thaler has just won the Nobel Prize for his work in predictable irrational behavior in markets, like in any market having to do with bullion and/or new releases. At least you're/we're getting noticed. Gold bugs and silver stackers should be asking Thaler for a commission.
