Check each one for really clean condition/full bell lines and keep the ones you find.

Sell the others as a group with an UNC premium over melt value. These years are common in AU/UNC, so you won't get much numismatic value over melt+.

Great overall find though. Looks like someone's stash got cashed in at the bank.

 

Tied up at work so will post more pics tomorrow. Looked some have lines some don't have as sharp of lines.

My $100 in loomis halves were a skunk.

 

Keep them for now, Fantastic Score, Never have pulled that many franklins in that condition. Outstanding! I haven't scored that much silver in over a year. Awesome. Collector Value Option for sure.

 

I went to my bank and made my dump today, While I was using the coin machine, it had to be opened, so I took a peek in the reject tub and Look What I Scored for A Dollar.

I'll be traveling in a month, so today I placed an order for 6 boxes of halves at my destination. The head teller likes me, so I'm confident she'll place the order and have them ready when I arrive to pick them up

Now the month long wait begins, ugh.

I hope to make time tomorrow to stop at a few local banks for CWR halves and large dollars on my way home from work, so I've something to look forward to!

Looked through the Franklins last night about half of them have Bells lines like this, the other half are not as clear. Thoughts now? (It's a shame they went through a coin wrap machine and tumbled around with other coins)

Looks like most of this long weekend is going to be rained out here locally, so I'm going to make an extra stop or two today in hopes of having some extra searching to do.

 

2 weeks in a row, my bank forgot my order... I'm starting to miss those darn rolls.

Have not found anything great lately.
Asked about dollars when I traded penny rolls.
She said it's been slow.

 

Hopefully they don't mind holding them that long. Some of the banks I use have limited vault space and they'll send 'em back if they sit around too long. I've also been offered boxes someone else ordered and didn't pick up in a timely manner.

 

Sometimes, if ya take care of your teller they'll take care of you too!
I walked into the bank and saw the teller waiving me over excitedly, "I got something for you, check out all this old silver"
