I dont know as this coin has been cleaned. Look real careful at the obverse on it. Anyone can see its a reverse low wholeshot from a Yale Hilo tire.. Geez guys cmon... : )
Could you post a link to THAT coin? All I can see is one that looks like it had been cleaned with a chisel and steel wool.
Its been bid up to $2,125.00 so far with almost 5 hours to go. Some people will never learn. He also answers every question the same way....."This coin came out of a Raw Gem set of dollars! The set was in a Dansco Album and I believe the 93-CC has slide marks (NOT cleaned). One of the nicest we have ever bought!!! Thx for Looking!!!" C'mon now, who really believes that crap. The scratches on the coin run diagonally, not horizonally. Ive never seen scratches on a coin like that from the plastic slides in an album and I've been using those types for a long time. What a joke!!! That coin wouldnt even be worthy to be a part of my collection.
I would be more concerned with authenticity than with a possible cleaning. You can't trust NNC to authenticate coins.
First clue the "mint" in the descripton box........... also I have never cracked a slab open but that looks tampered with! "I've always been crazy, it's kept me from going insane."
OMG!!! Bidding has ended at $3,650.00!!! With southerncoin as the unlucky winner. HaHa, I just cant stop laughing at this one. The shipping cost is even insane at $48.00...lol
I guess that NNC does have negative opinions of SOME coins... http://cgi.ebay.com/1904-S-Liberty-...ryZ39472QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem How do they call this coin cleaned and say that the other isn't just MS64... but PL!?
look at the other stuff the winner has won. he's got more money than brains http://myworld.ebay.com/southerncoin/
