Recently, I thought I was cleaning a Faustina II, because from the crud there appeared a lovely face, wavy hair and a bun in the back. I saw a necklace too and I became very excited because I immediately began looking forward to being able to post her when 'the big boys and girls' of CT put up their Faustina Juniors!! But, when I tried to confirm the identity, I found it was not Faustina, Jr., but Helena. Still, it's a lovely tiny coin. One of these days I'll have a Faustina II to post and in the meantime, I will continue to enjoy looking at the ones you guys have.

Nice apotheosis sestertius. I didn't know this type for Faustina II existed. On the consecratio theme, I just picked this one up today:

Good looking coin, always liked the Faustina : Peacock coins. Got a Faustina Sr. with a peacock but none of Jr.

Perhaps, but I would definitely need spousal approval to have 73 images of another woman, and I do not think permission would be granted :D.

I do have one of these though, from my first ever mixed large lot purchase.
