2006 p Colorado quarter

    Found this today out of a vending machine , picture is not very clear , but it is silver looking all around the edge , with no copper at all showing. 20170930_023523.jpg

    Could be plated in silver. State Quarters were plated in Silver and Gold and sold as a novelty. But these were done outside of the US Mint.

    Here is an example of the Gold plated version. In actuality, they are only worth 25C each :yack:

    Does it have an s mint Mark?
    They did make silver proof coins.
