Was wondering if someone could look at this coin. This caught my eye when I was roll hunting. Just below the "B" in Liberty. I think it might be some kind of lamination error? Also the edge of the coin has lamination error I think. Thanks for helping. 20170928_094028.jpg 20170928_093957.jpg 20170928_093934.jpg 20170928_094028.jpg 20170928_093957.jpg 20170928_093934.jpg

Laminations stopped happening after 1982 due to the fact that it’s a copper plated zinc penny. What you have is a die chip. Common and not worth much, I’d pay up to a dollar for it.

Thanks! That would of been my second guess. So it is worth keeping as an error coin?

I would keep it. May even be able to list it on "cuds on coins" if it isnt already listed there. I haven't been able to find it listed, I am also not sure if this would still be considered to be a BIE cent.
