Does NOBODY check out "answer" places before posting on "question" places? Or am I expecting too much?

Sorry, completely disagree. Check how close the tail of your F is to the steps. It's much farther on a true Close AM.

Just look at these pictures vs your coin. If it isn't obvious to you that it's wide I don't know how anyone will be able to convince you short of you wasting the money to get it slabbed.
Do you have a loupe? If not you need to get one. I really hate to say anything that could come off as mean, but I'd really expect someone who's been a member of this forum for longer than me to have done more homework and not just post every penny that gives you the faintest glimmer of hope, expecting the other users to tell you it's something it isn't. 9/10 posts I see from you have the feel of a first day user.

I promise I'm not trying to be a jerk, just give advice. I want to encourage you to become more knowledgeable of this hobby if it's one you truly intend to follow. If this isn't a hobby to you, but more of an investment, I can guarantee you're not going to "stirke it rich with pocket change".

Why do I want to jam that book down Potter's throat? I do, you know.

I don't know about better, but they were probably more attractive. (Although I do like the modern ones as well.)
