1957 ddo New Discovery

    The Date the in God we trust liberty all doubled die just looking at my wheats and saw this one not in that good of shape can someone grade it to the best of there abilty thank you

    Nope. Not new discovery, I have the exact one you have. They are die chips. Not doubled die. DDO means doubled die. Very common so common that it’s only worth 1 cent In your condition.

    @Tyler Graton is correct!
    Those are Die Chips. These occurred a lot for some reason in Cents minted in the 1950's especially 1957 and 1959

    your LIBERTY looks smooshed due to circulation wear and tear. Not a DDO

    It is common, and not a doubled die, but I'd still pay a nickel just for those wheat ears.
    Also I'd personally place it in the G-VG range, but I'm fairly new to grading so take my opinion witha grain of salt.

    I thought maybe the thickness of the lettering and date maybe a ddo
