I am taking a road trip and will be spending a day in Albuquerque with nothing to do. Was just wondering if anyone could recommend a decent coin shop to visit while I am there? Thanks...Mont
Albuquerque Coins 3216 San Mateo Blvd NE is a good shop. I lived in Albuquerque for 7 years. Friendly people and very helpful.. I moved away 6 years ago so cannot comment on how it is now, but it was decent place when I was last there.
Rent a car and venture off the freeway in ABQ, drive the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway. "The Scenic and Historic Area encompasses 15,000 square miles in the heart of central New Mexico, linking Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The drive is approximately 50 miles along Highway 14. Enjoy a breathtaking view from atop Sandia Crest, then drive back into history through the mining towns of Golden, Madrid, and Cerrillos, now coming alive with art, crafts, theater, music, museums and restaurants." http://www.turquoisetrail.org/
