With all the changes who have made?

Who are these "coin value regulators"?

The sites running the auctions. The do it your self site has made many changes in polices since than that has caused people to leave it unfortunately. The auction houses have raised their fees since then ect. It's a different landscape

It is just a matter of luck, I've had 1400 dollar coins from 99 cent auctions, and also 100 dollar coins that ended up selling for 30.

I have a hunch you really have about 10 $150-$600 coins. Put a few up for no reserve auction and $1 starting bid, and you will know the true value.

Yes, I would! You've made the assertion that all these changes have affected the prices, and I would like to know the specifics of your claim as they pertain to eBay.

Auction prices on eBay vary wildly. Identical items sold a day or hours apart can be 40% different in price. It boils down to who happens to be buying at a particular time, and if two stubborn bidders are going against each other.

This doesn't make any sense. Would you mind clarifying..........

"I've had 1400 dollar coins from 99 cent auctions......"

Did you buy them or sell them? How many $1400 coins?

Yeah, that's what I thought. You don't have anything to back up your claim.

I just am not going to be your research assistant for free. You know how to use the internet, unless you're going to pay people you can find it yourself

I don't disagree with this one bit.

However, I've come to the conclusion that the quality and demand for the coins that the OP is offering is not exactly the best.

You can make up any excuse you want, but the fact remains that you've made an assertion that you can't prove. I don't need to check anything.

You do if you want to avoid continuing to look hardheaded and foolish. Most of the rest of us know exactly what he's talking about, because we're living it with Ebay.

If you read my earlier comments about my prior experiences with eBay, maybe you'll understand why I've questioned @baseball21 about his baseless allegations. I don't need to know because I've already sold everything I want to for a very nice profit. He just stuck his foot in his mouth and can't get it out.

@cpm9ball many of the ebay changes include:

*extra fees for sellers (for example, the coins category went from 6% to 6.15% for ebay stores)
*there was a reduction in final value fee discounts from 20% down to 10% (for those that are top rated sellers)
*ebay is pushing 30 day returns
*ebay is making it very easy for buyers to win cases (in some instances the buyers are getting their money back and keeping the item)
*ebay is making it easier for buyers to scam sellers (claiming items not received)

...So with all these, costs are rising and sellers are hesitating to risk doing no reserve auctions (or even cutting back on selling on ebay completely).

I'm really not sure how it is baseless that their polices have changed over the last three years as you self admitted you won't bother to check. I could be very condescending as you're trying to be from dated experience, but you keep admitting that you can't be bothered to check/know so that is really all anyone needs to know.

A lot of it depends on how badly you want or need to sell them.
If you start all your auctions at .99 cents and let the market (people) set the price you'll be able to sell them.
