I can't tell what a wide AM variety is. Are the letters thicker? Is there a big gap between the A and the M? What defines a wide AM variety?
Yes there is gap between the bottom legs of the two letters. In the other variety the bottom legs of the two letters nearly touch each other. There have been many pics posted and the subject discussed many times. Just do a search for Wide A M.
I missed that the first time around. AT WORK? Now just what kind of job do you have? I need something like that.
Well thanks everyone for the info......I am a store manager, so most of my day is spent in front of a TV waiting for people to come by, it is a specialty store so we dont do alot of bussiness, but when we do its big sales...I sell outdoor cooking supplys, it may be a hour between customers.....I use store money to buy my coins at the bank, and then just cash them back in when I make my deposits....The owner does not mind what I do, as I have been there for about 9, or 10 years...GREAT JOB....I even have a recliner there..(LOL)....I bet I have been missing alot of the good pennys, as I knew very little about them....Have collected coins for years, but just run of the mill things....... Anyway, I got 2 boxes of Nickels (My first) got one Indian Head 1930, Terrible shape, and alot of 40's, and 50's....Also got one box of pennys, and it was the best box i've ever had....Somehow or another there were dozens, of UNC. 1959, 1961, 1963, and 1969 in there...Full luster...I dont know if someone cashed in the rolls or what....I do not know how my banks gets there rolls, they are the machine rolled kind tho..... BTW, on my boxes it says "PENNYS"........... Anyway thanks again for all the replys, I think I will like this site....Tom Shaw
