Plating error? PMD? Worn? Counterfeit???

    Got this in change today. Cell phone pics. Has luster that cartwheels, but a funky look. Neat toning, though! All around the edge is zinc that looks layered.

    You know a timesaver.....sort of like Tupper ware....only for coins stored in time....locks in freshness! With a distinctive burp.

    You could use it as a grading tool. It shows where the first wear on the high points are on the Lincoln cent.

    I always thought this was a dryer coin. Maybe that’s what he means by time saver

    Dryer coins and washer coins kind of look the same .
    A dryer coin has a thin rim and a washer coin has a thick rim .
    This one has a thick rim which it a washer coin .
