Run of "made in China" large cents, some common markers

    Since they do the cheaper method of just changing the date rather than making new hubs/molds for each one, you can see some common markers across many of the years. In this case, the small crescent shaped raised feature in the field to the right of the neck. A few also have another raised feature above the center of the date. These aren't super well done, but good enough to reel in some novice collectors with their $3-$4 price tag.

    They didnt even bother to put the right head on the 39, 40 and 41. The 42 has two distinctive head styles. There's not much right about them. Do you have any reverse images?

    Nice run Kirk! The listing I stole those photos from did not have reverse photos, but here is one from another listing. Not sure what year it's for, but most likely it is the same for them all.
