And this is another reason why I lost interest in searching cent rolls. I would see something like this and it would be....nothing...

 

Wheats are the main reason I search pennies.

Oh yeah for sure, varieties are another big reason. But wheats are what got me started and still the closest to my heart.

It's a Misaligned Die Strike with Die Deterioration Doubling. Nothing major. I would pay like $1.00 for an example such as yours just for the Misaligned Strike.

Since there always is the correction from penny to cent, it got me thinking. I've used penny more than cent since I was a kid, and everyone in our area did too. I wonder if it is a regional mis-speak?
