1967 Quarter with sticker

    Hello everyone, bought a couple rolls of quarters and found this 1967 quarter with a white sticker on it. Just curious what this is, just wondering what your thoughts are.

    I don't have any idea what it means, but it certainly has nothing to do with the US Mint or the production of the coin.

    Once you remove it, there might be some residue left on the coin. I believe you can soak it in 100% pure acetone to remove the rest. However, since it is a clad quarter, it may not matter.

    Looks like some sort of advertisement or someone was messing around with adhesives.
