I recentely purchased 3 coins off of Great Collections. Here they are with how much I paid (not including BP). 1952-D 1C PCGS MS64RB- $7 1948-D 1C PCGS MS64RD- $4.02 1947-D 5C NGC MS65- $2 Please excuse massive images.
Wow, you really scored some bargains! Two bucks for the nickel? That's nuts. Sad for the consignors. Nice coins, too. The reverse on that '52-D cent is awesome.
I'll say it again, those are really good buys! Congrats on the excellent pickups. (Edited to translate the meaning of my original post when written half asleep)
Thanks. The consigners had a whole bunch of stuff. Their loss is really just repayed with a coin that someone overpayed for.
Wow, those consignors really took it on the chin with that. Not your fault and certainly your gain being lucky enough to find those beauties for those low prices, you actually managed to win one of them for less than the listing fee
I think so. It's solid for the grade, and the color has to be a plus even though it's a little....odd.
Not quote, according to the PCGS priceguide, but sure, wh not? You're in it for less than ten bucks. I'd buy it at that price.
Nice! And you didn't even have to add $19 per coin like Heritage! I really need to give GC more looks.
I feel a little bad for whoever paid to have them graded. The consignor might have bought them just as cheaply.
12.5%. But yes GC is great. Though due to all the extra fees I will not really buy on a regular basis. More so when I see good buys or cherrypicks. Almost got an 1888/87 1C IGC VF20 (but looked PCGS low MS) S2 for $15.50 but someone bid me over a dollar with 4 seconds left.
