i like collecting the state quaters uncirculated rolls. But i also have some circulated rolls too. In an investment point of view, would you rather have 1 Tennesee uncirculated roll or 3 circulated Tennessee?

I can't understand why these TN rolls are so high priced anyway, what"s the attraction "ELVIS THE PELVIS" The Ohio's are a lower mintage and sell for one third the price!!

Circ rolls sell at face value. So is it better to have one unc roll, absolutely.

Why Tenn is more expensive? A better design coupled with a larger population in the state. Tenn and kentucky rule the quarters so far.

    Watch the california quarter.

I think the mint was shut down while they were making the Ohio quarter.

The Philly mint was shut down for 6 weeks during the middle of the Ohio quarter run. They did some big time catching up in the final 3 weeks to come up with the numbers they did get. In N.Y. we get our quarters from the Philly mint, but with Ohio and for some reason South Carolina we were supplied with Denver quarters. The Denver quarters usually take a while to make the trip East.

    Value of the State Quarters

I really can't understand why the value of the uncirculated or circulated state quarters have any value over 50 cents for a uncirculated and face value for a circulated version.

Let's say there are 1 million active collectors in the United States and 20 million people who are collecting the state quarters. This would mean that there are around 10 quarters for every person who wanted one. Rarity is not a factor here.

I can only assume that the popularity of the series is the driving force behind the value surges. My question is this. How long will this demand last before falling through the bottom..?
